Never get tired of this place - sheer heaven.
I played down the "low road" as a boy, before it was spruced up and renamed the Kelvin Walkway. I regularly take my kids along it. They like playing at the old mill or the round stones at the new wooden bridge.
I also played down the low road as a kid in the fifties and sixties, at nights we'd scare each other telling ghost stories, where imaginations ran riot. Down at the old mill some swore they saw ghost dugs running through walls.
