I attended the Springbank Primary School in Hinshaw street Maryhill from 1943 until we were rehoused in Bolornock just down the road from Stobbhill Hospital.we returned to Maryhill after I lost my Mum and remained there until I emigrated to Australia in 1959 I don't see my schools mentioned at all also went to North Kelvinside High School.
St. Joesph's Primary (Raglan Street) and Oakgrove Primary (St. Peter's Path) is also not on the list ...
Alan is right about Raglan St St Joesph's I remember that school as my cousins the Flynns went to that one. The place has changed so much but I am having a wonderful time going down memory lane hoping to meet up with old mates.
Why is there no mention of Springbank Primary School here. I was there from 1951-58, then onto Possilpark Senior Secondary. My first teacher was a Miss Bones. I think that's was her name.
I have recently seen a picture of Springbank Primary sent to me by Alec OBrien so the school is still standing why is it not then recorded in the list of schools please is there a reason why its not mentioned Serena craig

Don't see mine either,Gairbraid Primary and North Kelvinside. I suppose all those mentioned on the list still exist
My schools were Gilshochill and North Kelvinside. Both long gone but not forgotten.
